mlbackup-r115 released
What's new in mlbackup-115?
- mlbackup can now check for new versions online. Just run mlbackup without any config file parameter.
- Globalexclusions can now be turned off for 100% accurate backups.
- You can now provide your own per-config exclusions for even more control over what gets backed up and what can be left out.
- Globalexclusions have been extended with new files. Fifos and Sockets are now excluded by default.
- Verbosity has been reduced during normal runs, speeding up the backup process and reducing log sizes.
- When running in debug mode (set MLdebug=1 in your config file) mlbackup now spits out even more valuable information to track down problems.
- Time display is improved. Backup durations are now displayed in dd:hh:mm:ss instead of seconds only.
- Deleting of backups during autorotation has been improved. You should see a lot less of these OLD-Backups now.
- An error that could occur if setlabel or setcomment aren't in your $PATH has been fixed. This did not affect backup quality.
- An issue that could occur in reduced environments as presented by launchd with chown and chmod has been fixed.
- rsync 3.0.5 is now included. To see what is new in rsync, please see the rsync 3.0.5 release notes.
